Clothing Swap + Repair Café at Bergen Kjøtt

Welcome to Bergen’s largest Clothing Swap & Repair Café.
We are back with this semester’s first event! Here you can come to swap your old wardrobe into a new and fresh one! We’ll be putting out outfits perfect for the season, and a wide selection of good quality second-hand clothes in all sizes and styles + shoes and accessories. While at the event you can take a break at the Swap Café, where you can enjoy coffee and homemade vegan cakes. There will also be a Repair Café where you can get help to repair or adjust clothes you’ve found at the swap, or brought from home, giving your wardrobe a longer life.

When: 13th of September, 12.00 - 17.00

Where: Bergen Kjøtt (Skutevikstorget 1)

Tickets: Kr 60-120

- How does it work? -
Dive into your closet and collect a maximum of 7 clothing items, shoes, bags/purses (you can hand in an unlimited amount of these items: jewelry, plus size and masculine wear). At the event, you will receive points for each item, depending on its type and quality. The items you brought will be made available in the swapping area. Next, take your time to look through our well-stocked racks for some nice items and pay for them with the points you received, now you have acquired a newly swapped outfit! As we have our own stock, there are clothes available from the very beginning.

Note: You can bring any points received at former events. Left over points from this event can also be used at future events <3 

- Repair cafe -
Repair your own clothes at the repair cafe. Our experienced volunteers will help you make small repairs, like attaching a button, closing a hole, or replacing a zipper. The workshop is included in the entrance fee. The amount of repairs you can do depends on how busy it will be.

Bergen Kjøtt Bar (1. floor) has access from street level, welcomes service dogs and has toilet facilities available for all genders which are wheelchair accessible. All doors and corridors have a width of min. 110 cm). Companions have free admission, and can register in advance of the event.
